We don't take this matter lightly and only disclose this information to interested riders. With that said, share this underground content with those you feel will keep it that way. The Mountain Chickadee is part of every bike ride in our area which is why we chose to name our event series after it. Also, the similarities between the Mountain Chickadee and the Chickadee Underground Series are such that you may only catch wind of the event details, whereabouts, and riders through a "Cheeeeese Burger" calling (the birdsong of the Mountain Chickadee) whispered amongst friends, on this blog site, in an obscure newspaper calendar, or on a 'zine like poster at a local bike shop.
The premise of this event series is first and foremost to have fun, make new trail riding alliances, and tackle unnerving feats in and around the Tahoe area by bicycle.
We are a group of multi-sport athletes residing in Truckee, CA, who are determined to take a bit of riding back from the big boy brands in the industry by offering underground events, rides, and all sorts of fun in the form of human powered two-wheeled adventure.
